Our visual arts workshops are very much in demand across the UK and it is best to book at least two to three months in advance to secure your date! If you require a last minute workshop, not to worry, we have over 100 facilitators nationwide and we will do our very best to accommodate you, but you must not delay BOOK TODAY in order to avoid disappointment! Henna Workshops
Henna is an all natural, safe, temporary and painless and unique way to decorate your personality, spirit and body with henna art symbols. In India, Henna has been used for thousands of years to adorn the hands and feet of women for weddings and other auspicious times. The fascinating art of Henna has spread through cultures throughout India to Africa to the Middle East, where it has been used for various purposes from fashion and beauty, to personal expression, social and religious occasions and for healing purposes.
Carnival Arts - Mask/Costume/Bead Making Workshops
These workshops look at the role of street art within parades, carnivals, street theatre, festivals and celebrations. The use of colour, creativity and costume is explored. Participants are encouraged to create their own designs, try on and make head dresses, props and accessories.
Carnival is a popular celebration across the world, and this celebration is characterised by colourful costumes and masks. In the workshop, participants also learn about the meaning and representations of certain masks, such as the spiritual uses of masks evident in some ancient African traditions.

This workshop is based on the traditional art form of paper folding which is highly informative and great fun for all ages. Our experts will show you step by step how to make many kinds of elegant and decorative pieces using nothing but paper; from animals such as crane through to impressive mythical creatures such as dragons.
