Dear Trap Media, The African Drumming workshop was fantastic, full of energy and fun, facilitated perfectly with passion and expertise. The members of our project really enjoyed the african drumming workshops, and are very keen to do it again. I wouldn't hesitate in running more drumming workshops like this for events in the future."

Dear Lydia,
Suffice to say George lived up to the recommendation. The children had a great time and George was very willing to fit in with our needs (including working in a very restrictive space as the party proved so popular). I would very much like to book a African drumming workshop with George next year so will be in touch when the event is planned and hopefully he will be available.I will pass the word around about George and will be in touch sometime in 2010.

Hi there,
The lady who ran the Bollywood dance workshop was very nice and knowledgeable especially regarding the history of the style. Letting pupils try on the outfits was a good exciting opportunity for them. Thanks once again for organising it as I realise it was very short notice, so we are very grateful for your fast response in getting in touch and making the necessary arrangements.
Many Thanks

Dear Trap Media,
We wanted a general awareness for our pupils on the issues of crime and how to avoid it influences through drama based workshops. The facilitator was extremely professional, helpful and informed on the motivating influences for crime within the young people."

Dear Trap Media,
J just to let you know the workshop was brilliant! The organisation of the event, before and on the day, was efficient and everyone I spoke to when arranging it was helpful. It was the second year that Mohammed has done this African Drumming workshop with us and he was really in-tune with, and sensitive to, the special needs of our pupils. Mohammed managed the group and the structure of the session very effectively; with even the most self-conscious teenagers joining in, smiling and feeling they had achieved something. He has a great sense of humour and his enthusiasm was a joy to watch.

Dear Trap Media,
The drama workshop was fantastic and I can’t express how well these sessions went. Natalie has an excellent ability to build rapport with the 16+ age group. Although I was concerned that the activities would not be well received by our students Natalie managed to get everyone involved, even the most challenging of students. I feel that each student would have taken something away with them after Natalie’s drama workshops. Some of the tutors that booked on have requested that we use Natalie again.

Dear Trap, I’m not sure if Yve has contacted you since we had the African Drumming workshop on 24th October. But the session was excellent, the African drummer (Mohamed) was interactive, friendly and had the group engaged to the African Drumming Workshops. Many thanks for a fabulous African experience!
N. Bellot - Parent Involvement Coordinator - Family Action Sure start Roehampton & Putney
Dear Trap Media, We had a fantastic day on Sunday and I would like to say how marvelous the African Drumming workshops were. None of our young people have experienced African Drumming before or anything like it before. We were all so impressed by the couple who came and managed to smile and be constantly enthusiastic all day! Thank you Trap Media and I will sing your praises to all from now on.
A. Williams - Principal Youth Officer, Devon St John Ambulance, Devon
Dear Trap Media.... I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work at the xl Celebration Event. The feedback for the Music Workshops I have had so far has been amazing and if it hadn’t been for your positive attitude on the day and the flexibility to work with such a large and varied group of young people the event wouldn't have gone as well as it did. Hope you enjoyed the day also and hope you won’t mind us getting in touch for the next xl Celebration Event!"
K Luttrel - Xl Coordinator The Princes Trust
Hi Lydia, Thanks for the email, the African drumming and Junk Percussion workshops went very smoothly and both facilitators were great, very interactive which is just what we were looking for. If we do decide to do a similar series of workshops I'll be sure to check out your website.

Dear Trap Media, Many thanks for arranging our African drumming workshops at Quintessentially Soho at The House of St Barnabas on Thursday 5th November. We have had such a great feed back from the children and teachers saying how much fun they had learning how to play the Djembe drum and learning the significance of drumming in African culture. It was a pleasure to meet with George and we are so pleased with the great success of the morning.
The end result was such a fun and stimulating experience and it was great note on which to start the Quintessentially Soho community workshops at The House of St Barnabas. Many thanks again to both of you for all your help and support in arranging such a great African drumming workshop. Please pass on my personal thanks to George for being such an enthusiastic drumming workshop leader.
S.White - Quintessentially Foundation
Dear Lydia,
The workshops were great! The children had a great time mask making on Friday and several very colourful masks were produced. The leader appeared very knowledgeable and was great with the children. We have yet to fully evaluate the overall event but I heard of no concerns or issues re this workshop.
Thanks & best wishes,
M Sanderson For Albinism Fellowship, Chester.

Once again thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable event"

Hi Lydia, generally all the workshops were well received.
The African drumming workshop (Mohammed) was very popular. It was a pleasure to watch students with low self esteem flourish in the african dance workshop. Our Head teacher was particularly impressed and we are hoping there will be an article in the local press! We received a subsidy from Academy funds to pay for the day and would hope to organise it as a regular annual event depending on continual funding!

Dear Lydia
The drama and drumming workshop was great – the leader picked up the level the girls were at very quickly and was able to challenge them and make the experience very informative and fun – his manner was gentle, yet authoritative. We are hoping to book further workshops for the summer term for younger pupils, but as yet do not have confirmed dates.
Best wishes

Dear Trap Media,
We had a brilliant day and the practitioners were skilled, approachable and performed a brilliant showcase with the pupils at the end that really had a carnival feel! We especially enjoyed the Caribbean Dance workshop and the Drummer who was amazing! We would welcome them back anytime.

...The four artists you provided were very professional and keen to impart their expertise to the eager students at Gloucester School. Students continually passed comment on the wonderful experiences they had received and staff couldn't get enough.
All artists worked with warmth and humour and this encouraged everyone to take part; I was in shocked to witness two very shy students relaxed and smiling as they performed their African dance and numerous students volunteering to take part in the final performance when they usually shy away from performing in front of their peers.
The finale was amazing, although you really needed to be their. All students and staff dancing and singing together in the hall (we really didn’t care what we looked or sounded like!). Thanks Again
J. McDonald - Ministry of Defence (MOD) – Gloucester School, Germany
I would just like to leave some huge positive feedback for Oumar after our AMAZING workshops lat week. Some kids were sneaking out of other activities to repeat his African drumming workshops!!! Year 9 pupils were singing and dancing and saying that it was the most amazing thing that they had ever done! Staff were begging to help out and join in. Please let him know how happy we were.
