She was fantastic, and was very popular - the children loved the workshops and the jewellery they were able to make. The workshops really contributed to the success of our exhibit so many thanks. The African drumming workshop (Mohammed) was very popular. ...The four artists you provided were very professional and keen to impart their expertise to the eager students at Gloucester School. Students continually passed comment on the wonderful experiences they had received and staff couldn't get enough.

Sin-Man engaged each group of children appropriately and gave them a fabulous opportunity to try the ribbon dances.
Part of my role as subject leader is to speak to the children and ask what they learnt in our week studying China , and what they particularly enjoyed doing. Although my class did not participate in the Anti Bullying workshop I was able to pop in for 5 minutes to observe and I was impressed with what I saw. Similarly, having spoken to the children and staff involved, they reported that the behaviour of the children was well managed, they were engaged at all times and learnt vital skills including how to read and use body language.

Martin, the professional drummer who came to take workshops all day here at Lady Eleanor Holles was absolutely fantastic.
As one of our Year 6 pupils said as she left her session – “He’s so COOL!”.
All the pupils, and staff, thoroughly enjoyed the sessions.
Each session was aimed just right for our pupils and they responded very well to Martin.
I also invited him to listen to part of our Choir practice at lunchtime, as we have been learning an African part song. Martin happily came along and accompanied the girls on several of his drums. This was inspirational and brought extra smiles to all.  

He shows an obvious love for the djembe and other drums and also a great love for his country, Ghana.
Thank you Martin for working so hard to give us such a wonderful day.
