All personnel including freelancers/artists within the organisation who work directly with children and young people have had (or are awaiting) either a standard or enhanced disclosure check within the last three years and can produce evidence of this on request. -

Traveling expenses are charged relative to the distance the artist has to travel between their home and the venue. If overnight accommodation cannot be avoided, there will be an additional charge to cover. -
We have over 150 artists covering London and the UK. Please bare in mind that expenses and any necessary accommodation would need to be covered.
-
We work with participants of all ages and abilities and have considerable experience in the fields of special needs, please advise us about any such children prior to making a booking.
-
How long are the workshops/sessions?
Sessions can be customised on the individual requirements needed, for instance you may want a artist for 2 hours for an after school class, for a two month period.
To allow participants to really benefit from our tutors the recommended minimum duration of a workshop is 2 hours. 4 hours is the duration of a full day workshop, with a break of at least fifteen minutes between each section. The length of each session can be adjusted to suit the teacher requirements.
-
What is the maximum number of participants per session?
The appropriate number of students taking part in any workshop will vary depending on the type of workshop. Teachers will want to get the best value for money, but expecting artists to cope with more children than they are comfortable with will not produce a satisfactory experience for the students, school or the artists.
-
How do I book a workshop/session?
All provisional bookings can be booked using the online booking form, we will then contact you to customise the workshop for you. After you have made a booking, you will be sent a booking confirmation Letter. The letter will confirm what has been agreed and include any further information that you will need.
- What
resources do you require?
Resources required depends on the nature of the project, this will be made known before the confirmed booking. For instance when booking a dance workshop, we require a warm, well-lit space with a clean clear floor that is as large as possible – ideally for a group of 30 participants no smaller than 10m x 15m. Provision of a CD player is required.

What do I do if I still have questions?
Just contact the Creative Arts Team we will be happy to go through any questions with you.
Where artists have to supply additional materials, there will be a separate charge that will be negotiated at the time of booking.
The optimum number of participants per workshop led by one artist is 15-30 (maximum is 30). This will allow the tutor to provide the best service possible.
We will expect a responsible member of staff to supervise the class, as our artists are expected to deliver an arts based workshop and should not be expected to take on the responsibilities of the class teacher.
