Dear Trap Media, We had a fantastic day on Sunday and I would like to say how marvellous the workshops were. None of our young people have experienced African Dance & Drumming before or anything like it before. We were all so impressed by the couple who came and managed to smile and be constantly enthusiastic all day! Thank you Trap Media and I will sing your praises to all from now on.

".... I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work at the xl Celebration Event. The feedback for the Music& Dance Workshops I have had so far has been amazing and if it hadn’t been for your positive attitude on the day and the flexibility to work with such a large and varied group of young people the event wouldn't have gone as well as it did. Hope you enjoyed the day also and hope you won’t mind us getting in touch for the next xl Celebration Event!"

Traditional Indian Classical & Bollywood Dance WorkshopOur Indian Dance Workshop and Bollywood Dance Workshops Workshops are an exciting alternative to the standard PE lesson; consisting of plenty of exercise and physical activity, but adding dance elements of rhythm, co-ordination, musicality and performance, as well as learning about another culture. Participants will be introduced to basic principals of Indian dance, including hand gestures, moves for the head, neck and eyes, and Indian foot rhythms as seen in Bollywood dance movies.
The traditional classical Indian dance workshop, this would include flexed feet, gestures for the hands and fingers, and movements for the head, eyes, and neck, accompanied by traditional Indian music. The modern Bollywood dance workshop, this would include fast and funky moves for the hips and shoulders, combined with some cheesy humour and Indian–style moves for the fingers, all accompanied by catchy Bollywood music.
The Indian & Bollywood dance workshop ends with a high energy live dance performance by participants to put into practice the techniques they have learned during the workshops. The group being split into two so each group can give a mini – performance, while the other acts as the audience.
