Stop! Before Booking Any Chinese Arts Workshops...

Let me ask you a simple question... with so much choice on the internet how do you know you are getting 100% Authentic Chinese Arts Workshops at the best price, can all these companies claiming to be providers of workshops be relied on?

At Trap Media we kid you not when we say we can guarantee you that no one else in the UK can offer a wider range of professional workshops at an amazing price than us.

So before booking with someone else consider these questions below and you will realise Trap Media is the company of choice for any creative workshops nationwide. We just don't provide workshops we provide an experience you will never forget.

World CupDo they have CRB Checks, Public Liability and a Child Protection Policy in place to safe guard vulnerable people?

World CupAre the workshops authentic? Meaning is the workshop a traditional based multicultural experience?

World CupCan they provide you with at least 5 testimonials from various organisations?

World CupCan they provide you with workshops in Dance, Drama, Music, Visual, Asian and African Arts to your requirements?

World CupCan they deliver nationwide? If so are you sure they will turn up or cancel on you at short notice?

World CupDo they have any credibility or do you know how long they have been around for?

World CupDo they have a dedicated support team to help you coordinate your event?

Well if they can't answer these questions above with full confidence we strongly recommend not using them quite frankly! We take pride and passion in every workshop we provide and you will not be disappointed.

You really don't want to ruin your event or day by booking with the wrong company. We have seen so many organisations let down by companies claming to provide similar workshops - so choose wisely.

Chinese Ribbon Dance Workshop

Participants will use hand held ribbons to move in large circular movements, these movements are accentuated by the trailing ribbon. Participants will use large and flowing movements at times when the music is slower paced, so the ribbon will “float” around your body. When the tempo speeds up, typically so do the movements into sharp and quick motions. This will give the look of fluttering and flapping that will bring an equal amount of beauty to the dance. It’s all about allowing the music to help dictate your motions and expressions. Chinese Ribbon Dance Workshops are colourful, engaging, fun and help to teach participants the theatrical style of Chinese dance and its history. Participants also learn a routine which in turn will lead to a live performance!

Chinese Fan Dance Workshop

Participants will enjoy keeping movements in time with the consistently changing rhythms paired with consistently changing body positions. Classical Fan dances are based on simple classical Chinese body movements, allowing the dance to be very soft and flowing continuously. The Chinese fan dance is performed in celebration of Chinese culture, it represents beauty, grace and delicacy; it also expresses feelings of joy. Feather fans and silk fans both are part of the traditional Chinese dance. Chinese Fan Dance Workshops are a cultural insight into Chinese history that are not only interactive and engaging but are fun to watch or participate in.
