Dear Trap Media, Just to let you know overall all 38 workshops provided for the Girl Guide celebrations were excellent! The facilitators were all very pleasant and several commented that they had learned a lot about the Guide movement. I would definitely recommend you to others.
Best wishes,

Dear Trap Media. Thank you for sending such amiable and professional workshop leaders (Origami and Indian Drumming) to us this week! Could you pass my thanks on to them, I have had nothing but positive reviews from all of the staff and students who had the chance to be in the sessions.
Kind Regards
F. Melmoe – East Surrey College
Dear Trap Media,
Suffice to say George lived up to the recommendation. The children had a great time and George was very willing to fit in with our needs (including working in a very restrictive space as the party proved so popular). I would very much like to book a African drumming workshop with George next year so will be in touch when the event is planned and hopefully he will be available.I will pass the word around about George and will be in touch sometime in 2010.

Dear Trap Media, the African drumming workshops and Junk Percussion workshops went very smoothly and both facilitators were great, very interactive which is just what we were looking for. If we do decide to do a similar series of workshops I'll be sure to check out your website.
S Buck - British Music Experience – the O2, London
Dear Trap Media, I’m not sure if Yve has contacted you since we had the African Drumming workshop on 24th October. But the session was excellent, the African drummer (Mohamed) was interactive, friendly and had the group engaged to the African Drumming Workshops. Many thanks for a fabulous African experience!
N. Bellot - Parent Involvement Coordinator - Family Action Surestart Roehampton & Putney
Dear Trap Media, We had a fantastic day on Sunday and I would like to say how marvelous the African Drumming workshops were. None of our young people have experienced African Drumming before or anything like it before. We were all so impressed by the couple who came and managed to smile and be constantly enthusiastic all day! Thank you Trap Media and I will sing your praises to all from now on.
A. Williams - Principal Youth Officer, Devon St John Ambulance
Dear Trap Media, The African Drumming workshops went really well, I was very impressed!! George was a fantastic African Drumming instructor and really motivated the young people, some of which had extensive additional learning needs.
The session were well structured but flexible for the y/p needs, and all the y/p engaged. The school has received good feedback from the y/p and the staff attending, i will forward this on if they send it to me. Thanks again, and we are still trying to arrange two more schools to be involved, i will be in touch soon.

Afro Cuban/Samba Drumming Workshops - Rio to Havana!
We offer authentic Brazilian Drumming workshops which is the Latin American version to the African Drumming Workshops we provide.
Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world and one of the most ethnically diverse. Its culture is a dynamic mix of influences from indigenous Amerindian, European, African, and the United States. The landscape ranges from the tropical rainforest of the Amazon to the hi-tech urban environment of Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo. From the street carnivals of Rio, Samba drumming envelopes all your senses and the Samba orchestra comprises of participants learning a multitude of different instrument from small agogo bells to huge Surdo drums. This drumming is for marching and the combined rhythmic patterns are easy to learn. Once the rhythms are learnt, everyone will gain a great sense of achievement and be swept up by the exotic sounds of Latin America.
The Music Samba is an expression of the dynamic culture of the people of Brazil - from its roots in Carnival, the infectious rhythms and extrovert sounds of Samba have spread all over the world. It comprises highly syncopated interlocking rhythms over the steady throb of the surdo, with contrasting rhythmic sections, breaks, call and responses, together with students’ own composition and improvisation.
Participants learn to play authentic Brazilian rhythms and instruments with correct technique in the dynamic Carnival style. Phonics and word-rhymes aid musical memory so multi-section pieces can be learned and performed easily, working at a level to suit the age and experience of the group. participants work with the whole range of Samba instruments, including surdo, repinique, timba, tambourine and all kinds of percussion, and will learn to master the characteristic rhythmic syncopations and grooves of Samba.
Sessions may run from 30mins to 1 hour, depending on the age group, and fit with the schools timetable where possible. The time may be used in many ways; often schools want every class to have at least one contact so everyone has an opportunity to share the excitement. We also encourage a performance towards the end of a project.
